Great burgers. We were a bit tired of Japan style burgers (ハンバーグ) and this fit the bill. Main options are spicy, avocado, and BLTs. Also serve Hawaiian drinks teas and beers. Free parking.

Good burgers and Hawaiian beer

Kua Aina originated in Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii and probably has about 2 dozen or more burger restaurants in Japan. Burgers are lean (more so than McDonald's) & a choice between 1/3 to 1/2 pound beef burgers with varieties of toppings. Kamakura chain has 4 car parking spaces, but I'm uncertain about the distance to closest train station. If you are a hamburger fan, you will probably enjoy the best burgers in Japan. Well worth the visit to any Kua Aina chain.

Chill atmosphere and epic food right beside the beach

Standard good quality burgers, a safe choice if you're in the mood for some meat in Kamakura. I don't see any difference in quality from all the other Kua'aina locations, other than the original in Haleiwa...that place is naturally the best. I like their shoe string fries and avocado burgers, yum! Nice to have a store here; parking, while limited (4-5 cars?) is much appreciated!

For some odd reAson the burger here doesn't taste the same as their other chain locations. I came here on two separate occasions and both times the burger had no taste. I might just be having bad luck....

Best place for juiciest burgers in town. Portion size is large and definitely value for money.

Really delicious burgers! Staff are a bit slow but the burgers totally make up for it. Nice view overlooking the beach.

Just a short walk from the beach and you can have yourself a thick Hawaiian style sandwich in your mouth. Interesting variety of sandwiches to try out, and service is fast.

Tasty, fresh and economical Hawaii-influenced American hamburgers and sandwiches. Close to the popular beaches of Kamakura. Pick beer as your refreshment and get that upsized. Nice!

Fun little town. Reminded me a bit of Hawaii. The burgers were great, and they have all the Kona beers imaginable, I'd eat here again.

My first burger in Japan and probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. They can be a bit pricey compared to other food places here, but it's completely worth it.

Great hamburger! Great fries! Only downside is that it is located a bit far from kamakura station... But then again - the food is worth it.

the first time I eat at this place and I have already become a fan ... cozy and rustic place, quality service (Japan, high level) ... and here the food comes, I was already surprised by the way the hamburger is served, the care they take in preparing is remarkable. The taste? simply sensational! "au point" meat and everything delicious ... and now an important detail: the drink options ... several craft beers to choose from, or the draft beer (my choice) .. about the size? up to 1 liter! just come! :)

This burger is very well made and has a great flavor. I recommend the set with a a drink and fries that costs around 1300 .

The vegetables on the burger seemed extra fresh and crunchy, if you focus on veggies this is a big plus. Fries were also delicious.The beef itself tastes good, but a huge, huge downside is that you cannot go double patty. You can only increase the size to 230g single patty, which just doesn't cut it for burger customization in my eyes. Another downside of this chainshop is the price, definately high end for a burger.Overall a pleasant experience with nice, Hawaiian interior design fitting for Kamakura's beach atmosphere.Food overall good but nothing to brag about.

We enjoyed our burgers and fries here! We often visited Kua’aina when we lived in Okinawa, but that location closed shortly before we left. We were very excited to see one here in Kamakura! The staff was friendly and the location was easy to find and clean.

Good food but usually crowded and parking is scarce

I really like the roast beef sandwich and the little fries. Tasty. Go at off times to avoid long wait lines.
